FLOSSOM KITCHEN & CAFE: A WONDERFUL DISCOVERY OF FLAVORS

There is something undeniable charming about neighborhood cafes. That homey feel and relaxing vibe is something that I look for, apart of course from incredibly delicious food. I just recently discovered an adorable little bistro that opened just a few months back, that checks all the boxes in what a neighborhood cafe should be.. Flossom Kitchen & Cafe.

THE YUMMY THAT IS YUMI -RinaZ

yumi japanese restaurant

If you're a follower of this blog, then you know all about Richie's travels around California a few months ago. Like you, I too watched in envy as he would post delicious dishes from the U.S.A.. So when we got an invitation to visit Yumi Japanese Restaurant in Greenhills Promenade, I decided to go alone and give him a taste of his own medicine, and show him what he was missing back home.

Much to my delight, I discovered that Yumi serves beautifully plated Japanese dishes. But more than just being visually stunning, the dishes were of course delicious!

SARIWON: A TASTE OF KOREA IN THE PHILIPPINES

I may not care for their hairstyles or their music (With the "Sistars" being the sole exception, that I watch on mute), but I must say that I quite enjoy Korean Cuisine - Especially when it comes to their Barbecue. Though I had heard of Sariwon numerous times through the foodie grapevine, I had yet to try the dishes that they had to offer.

One fine day, I tagged along with some of my blogger friends to visit Sariwon's newest branch in Greenhills, to see how it compared to the other Korean restaurants I've been to in the past.

It took only one visit for me to feel silly for not going there a lot earlier.

LET THE QUIRKINESS BEGIN: THE QUIRKY BACON!

I think I've done a good job of associating the "Pickiest Eater" name with god's gift to the world.. bacon. Not a week goes by that a reader or a fried tags me on Facebook with a bacon related article. And truthfully, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Chef Sharwin Tee is a chef after my own heart. Like me, the man eats, breathes sleeps, bacon. He loves those glorious strips of meat so much, he named his restaurant after it, with many of his dishes utilizing everyone's favorite meat candy... Bacon.

This is my visit to Quirky Bacon.

TORCH LIGHTS UP THEIR NEW MENU! - RINAZ

A few weeks ago we were supposed to try out a restaurant in Greenhills named Torch with other blogger friends. But unfortunately no one could look after Rain at that time so we had to decline last minute. We heard nothing but raves from our friends who were able to go. And that made us more curious about this Torch place.

Then the universe worked its magic! A few weeks after we luckily got an invitation to a Media Lunch Menu at Torch! What can I say? It’s destiny! *tear*. So off I went one weekday to Greenhills. According to the map, it was along Connecticut Street. I was driving slowly from the side of Greenhills Shopping Mall, looking for Home Studio Building. I was almost near EDSA but still didn’t see it so I turned back. It was only then that I saw the facade of Torch. It was quite big so I’m not sure how I missed it. Maybe because of the tree branch blocking it.
