ALL IN THE FAMRY AT HOLE IN THE WALL

Those are the exact words I used to describe myself on my Tinder Profile.

Last 2016, I flew to Taiwan for a food trip of epic proportions. Since that life changing journey, I've been looking for places here in the Philippines that can offer me a taste of the food I enjoyed in Taiwan. One such discovery is Famry, the newest stall at Hole In The Wall Food Hall at Century City!

A CHRISTMAS COOKIE SURPRISE FROM SCOUT'S HONOR!

I am a cookie fanatic, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. And clearly, one of the best in the country today comes from Chef Miko Aspiras' "baby", Scout's Honor at Hole in The Wall. This holiday season, I was sent a box of some of Chef Miko's newest creations and I just had to share with you my delicious experience, with every cookie tasting even more awesome than the next!

THE ANSWER: ANY ANY AT HOLE IN THE WALL

I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't tried Your Local yet (I'm rarely ever in Makati, but still, no excuses 😓), but Chef Nicco's reputation from there was he was indeed a chef on the rise. His work with Hey Handsome was the stamp of reaffirmation that the hype around this talented chef was legitimate.

It took a few bites from his dishes at Hey Handsome for me to quickly realize that this is one incredibly talented Chef. You see, being a picky eater and all makes me rather adverse to trying ingredients that I'm not familiar with.

Any Any is a new addition to the Hole In The Wall food paradise, and Chef Nicco takes Malaysia staples Roti and Nasi Lemak, and elevates them to all new heights!

SUPER SAVER DISCOVERY: KANTO FREESTYLE BREAKFAST

It was almost lunch time when I got a text from my wife asking where she and her sister (my sister-in-law) can eat that’s one-of-a-kind but good. Something they haven’t tried yet. (I am actually getting used to being the restaurant guru to my relatives

But then she remembered that she only had a little amount of money left in her wallet. On a normal day I would probably have gotten worried but not this time. Thankfully I knew I had some cash left in my ATM from the rebates that I got from Security Bank. Yes, that’s correct! Security Bank gives rebates in the form of cash which is so much more practical than getting freebies in establishments I’m usually not so into. This way we get to choose how and where to enjoy our rebates.

Kanto was featured in Manila Standard Newspaper
