BIG BITE 2019 AT AYALA CENTRIO MALL CAGAYAN DE ORO

I traveled to the beautiful city of Cagayan De Oro to attend the Big Bite Norther Mindanao Food Festival that happened at Ayala Centrio Mall. We witnessed the amazing gastronomic treats that awaited the lucky citizens of CDO! Not only did we get to eat some fantastic food, we also saw Chef JP Anglo in action, as he gave a live cooking demo for the crowd!

OUR SUITE STAYCATION AT HOLIDAY INN & SUITES MAKATI!

If there's anything that Rain really enjoys, it's when we have a staycation at a hotel. Since I've had a grueling work schedule, we haven't been able to go on a staycation for a awhile, so when I went out of town on a business trip, I promised her that her mom and I would take her to Holiday Inn Makati for a fun filled weekend. The relaxing environment of our One Bedroom Suite allowed me to get some work done, while Rina enjoyed being able to shop at the neighboring Glorietta Mall!

MANDARIN SKY OPENS IN MARKET! MARKET!

A QC Legend has now opened in Taguig! 

The popular Chinese restaurant, "Mandarin Sky" has opened a new branch in Market! Market! Unlike the main branch in Quezon city, the Market Market branch doesn't feature the fresh seafood in tanks, hence the "Express" monicker.. however the menu is pretty much the same lineup of dishes that made them famous!

FILIPINOS FIRST TIME AT SONIC DRIVE IN!

During my trip to Los Angeles last year, my Niece Cara and I made a food run to the nearest Sonic Drive in so we could experience a good old fashioned American Drive In.

The nearest branch to where we were staying was at Mission Viejo, and we decided to shoot a short video while we were there, as we tried our respective burgers.

Internet Superstar "Masarap Ba?" is currently holding (as of April 1) a "Meet and Eat" food Festival at Novotel Manila Araneta Center, featuring dishes created by products endorsed on the wildly popular Instagram account!

The Buffet, held at Food Exchange, is an amazing collaboration by Masarap Ba, and Novotel, and allows previously unknown online purveyors to gain a wider audience for their products, that in some cases, are even better than their Mainstream contemporaries. 

I couldn't wait to give the buffet a try, and all I could say afterwards was indeed... MASARAP NGA!!!

Hakaw! There are around 10 branches of Shi Lin around Metro Manila, making it one of the more popular Chinese restaurants in the Philippines. I really enjoy these moments I have with Rain, especially since we don't get to do Daddy - Daughter dates too often!
