Since I’ve learned about PayMaya, it triggered something in me to explore how this awesome app can be used in even more aspects in my life! (Especially in restaurants)
Paying for transactions is incredibly convenient, but the thought that customers can enjoy special deals, apart from cashback promos, really made me a believer of PayMaya.
Gaining rewards for purchases made for products that you love is incredibly meaningful, especially when one is trying to stretch their Peso for as long as they can this Holiday season.
On the onset, I was stoked to find out that PayMaya is accepted at my go-to restaurant when I’m hungry at the office… You guessed it.. KFC!

I remember when I was a kid, my aunt would give me a thick wad of Twenty Peso bills for Christmas. I remember loving the feeling of having so much money in my wallet, even if you added it all up together and it was just around P300. The amount was actually not really the point.. To me, the point was getting money instead of a gift made me feel even more grown up. Like I was being told that I am responsible enough to make purchases for myself. That’s when I started understanding the concept of the “Aguinaldo” for the Holiday Season.
Now that I am an uncle and Godfather to many kids, it’s my turn to give out Aguinaldos to my nephews and nieces.. But the difference I noticed is that – since they’re already bringing gadgets such as cellphones, portable gaming consoles and tablets, they don’t like the cumbersome feeling of fat bills in their pockets.
It’s a good thing that PayMaya solves that problem by allowing its users to send digital aguinaldo to their loved ones.. through its Send Money feature!
Giving someone money during the holiday season is a great way to show that you care. Perhaps the annoying thing about the effort, is having to go to the bank and withdraw the crispiest bills possible, not to mention get nice “Ampao” envelopes, then label them one by one with the names of the recipients.
PayMaya eliminates all that hassle and makes giving Aguinaldo to your loved ones really simple! Even better, they’re also giving you a P10 cashback each time you send a minimum of P200 per day.
Here’s all you need to do:
First, Open the PayMaya app, then Go to Send Money
Simply key in the PayMaya mobile number of the recipient along with the amount for your Aguinaldo, Then hit send!
As a safety precaution, you will receive an SMS confirming your transaction and another SMS informing you of your P10 cashback!
That’s right! You can get up to P100 cashback, P10 per day! And when you send an accumulate amount of P10,000, you earn P100 on top of your initial cashback.
With PayMaya’s new Digital Aguinaldo feature, you can skip the trip to the bank, and send money to your nieces and nephews the modern way! If that doesn’t get me the title of “Cool Tito”, I don’t know what will!
You too can enjoy a convenient and rewarding way to send Aguinaldo to your loved ones with PayMaya. Just sign up on the app and make sure to use my code: RICHARDPAYMAYA, to instantly get P50 on your account.

Hakata Ton-ichi has quickly gained fame around Metro Manila as a Ramen chain that serves authentic Japanese Ramen at incredibly affordable prices. After opening a branch at SM North Edsa, Hakata Ton-Ichi opened their second branch at Glorietta in Makati, and is poised to open yet another one soon at Ayala North Exchange. I dropped by to see if the hype was real.. And I was not disappointed!

Let me know if you can relate to this.. It’s a Saturday Morning, and I’m absolutely starving. I realize that in my urgency to get home and avoid rush hour, I totally forgot to withdraw money, just to make sure I have something in my wallet should the need arise. Much to my dismay, I wake up to find out that our helper took the day off, and given that my culinary skills leave much to be desired, the only logical option would be ordering from a food delivery service.
So this is the situation I find myself in.. I can’t cook for fear of burning my house down, but at the same time, I don’t have enough cash on hand for delivery.. So what do I do? Given that this was a Saturday, I was too lazy to leave my house to go to the nearest ATM.
Thankfully, just a couple of days ago, I noticed a PayMaya sign at the ArmyNavy restaurant near my office. This got me thinking.. Perhaps they accept PayMaya for delivery? A quick check at their website proved me right… More and more online restaurant delivery services are using a feature that PayMaya recently introduced called “Pay With PayMaya”, making it even convenient to get food delivered straight to your home!
You might be wondering what could possibly be new about Paying with PayMaya.. Since people have been doing it for quite some time now. Well, their new “Pay With PayMaya” feature, users no longer need to go through the cumbersome process of entering your card details when making online
purchases. All you have to do is log in using their PayMaya mobile number and enter the OTP that they receive on their phone to confirm their purchase. Simple as that!
Here’s a quick step by step guide on how to make an online purchase using the new Pay With PayMaya Feature!
STEP 1: Log on to the Website that accepts PayMaya Payments (I’ll post a list at the bottom, but for this particular transaction, I chose ArmyNavy). You might need to register.
STEP 2: Choose your order from their menu (There are so many delicious items to choose from, this is usually the most difficult part for me)
STEP 3: Choose your Order Method (Some restaurants let you choose from a Pick up or Delivery option)
STEP 4: Choose your Payment method. Army Navy allows Cash, Credit Card, and other online Payment options, including PayMaya! Select Online Payment Powered By PayMaya
STEP 5: Fill in Delivery Information (Let them know where to deliver!)
STEP 6: Review your order Summary (Make sure the details are correct)
STEP 7: Click on “Pay With PayMaya”
Using Pay With PayMaya is incredibly convenient. I don’t have to have cash with me at all times, and I simply need to enter my phone number instead of my hard-to-memorize Credit Card Number. Not only that, the One Time Pin function assures me that my transactions are secured. I get a notification on my
phone first so I can verify my purchase.
A final note was, the transaction was made seamlessly, because
the delivery man simply had to hand over my purchase. No need to prepare cash or “change for P1,000” or whatever.
And I was also surprised to find out that I got a 10% cashback Bonus, because all PWP transactions from December 11, 2019 to January 15, 2020
will receive 1%, 10% or 100% cashback, capped at P500 per transaction. That’s a great introductory promotion!
You can also enjoy this convenient and rewarding experience in your favorite restaurants, deal providers, retail brands, and even government institutions!
Food/Drinks: Bo’s Coffee, Army Navy, Dominos, Shakey's, Goldilocks, Zubuchon, Boozy
Deal providers: Booky, Eatigo, Klook
Retail: Landers, Rustans, VMV Hypoallergenics, Rose Pharmacy
Government: PRC, DTI, Pag-Ibig, DOST, SSS, DFA, Tieza, PhilHealth, NHMFC
Others: Anytime Fitness, Araneta Bus Port
PayMaya is constantly finding ways to make purchases easier for you, so If you want to know more about the latest deals, make sure you check out www.PayMaya.com/deals!
If you don’t have a PayMaya account yet, download the app now and sign up using my code: RICHARDPAYMAYA to get an instant P50 in your account.

As children, the joy and excitement we feel during the Christmas season can be encapsulated in one word: Aguinaldo. The term refers to gifts received, specifically, during the holidays. As grown-ups, we find ourselves on the other side of giving with younger relatives now expecting their presents from us.
However, no matter how old we are, there is always a child within us who is giddy with happiness when we receive an "Aguinaldo".
Fortunately, this holiday season, you can have that “just got a gift” feeling every day with the Dunkin’ Donuts Aguinaldo In Every Cup promo. Every time you purchase one 12-ounce cup of hot or iced Dunkin’ Coffee, you have a chance to instantly win a Free Classic Donut or cash — P500, P1,000, P5,000, and for the lucky ones who will surely have a Merry Christmas, P20,000.
To get your Aguinaldo, peel the perforated coupon found on the side of your Dunkin’ Coffee cup that says “Open your Holiday Surprise!” and “Peel Here.” It’s best to do this after finishing your drink because the excitement might make you spill it.
Your Aguinaldo is waiting for you in any of your Dunkin’ Coffee favorites like Dunkin’ Brewed Coffee, Dunkin’ Black Iced Coffee, or Dunkin’ Iced Coffee. So, are you ready for some Christmas feels? Then get your Dunkin’ Donuts Aguinaldo In Every Cup from now until December 15, 2019.

Greenwich Pizza invited me and my friends from the Kain Tulog Gang to an exclusive Pizza Making camp event! For events like this, Greenwich usually teachers their guests how to make the Hawaiian Pizza, but they made an exception for us! Instead of the Hawaiian, they decided to teach us how they make their all new All In Overloaded Pizza!

And just like that, it’s December! 2019 zipped by us so fast, I didn’t even realize that Christmas is just around the corner!
Honestly, with the state of how traffic is nowadays (especially in December), I have recently learned to embrace the convenience of online shopping. Up until a few months ago, I was wary about making purchases online, mainly because I was worried about putting my financial information on the web. However, my Millennial colleagues at work showed me a few tips that helped put the mind of this worry-wart Tito at ease.. And it all began with PayMaya!
