BELIEVING IN MAGIC AT EPILOGUE, S MAISON

S Maison at Conrad Hotel always feels like quite a way from where I live, but whenever I go there, I always seem to discover a restaurant that makes the trip worthwhile. With its wide array of mouthwatering entrees, Pastries and Desserts, Epilogue is one of those restaurants that gives you the courage to brave the Pasay traffic and the throng of terrible UV express drivers on the road.

CHILLING OUT AT SNOWBING SM NORTH EDSA

Not only has Korea spread it's music and television dramas to a fever pitch here in the Philippines, even their food has captivated our taste buds. The Bingsu in particular, has become so popular, that its virtually impossible to go to a mall and not find a restaurant or stand that specializes on Korea's beloved shaved ice treat!

The newest name to watch out for in Bingsu has got to be Snowbing! My food friends and I dropped by SM North Edsa on a scorching Saturday to cool down over some delicious, Korean frozen treats!

APPLEBEE'S NEW MENU: THE CELEBRATION CONTINUES

Since opening up their first branch in the country a few years ago, Applebee's has emerged as the Go-to place for celebrations. The festive atmosphere is the perfect setting for good vibes and fun with loved ones, over what you can be assured is delicious, hearty food.

Never one to be complacent, Applebee's has recently amped up their menu, adding even more exciting dishes that they feel would hit close to home to the Food loving Filipinos palate!

It didn't take a lot of arm twisting for me to troop to the nearest Applebee's branch for me to try it out!!

AIR ASIA FLIES TO HO CHI MINH: THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU VISIT

Since I went back to working full time, I haven't been able to join my AirAsia family on their trips, as opposed to last year where I was fortunate enough to be a part of several media trips, for both domestic and international destinations. I won't lie to you, the travel bug inside me has been itching for quite a few months now, so when my friends from AirAsia asked if I would be interested in joining the airline's inaugural trip to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Having never been to Vietnam before, the answer was of course, a resounding yes!

MCDONALD'S SECRET MENU IS REVEALED!

The Big Mac. The Quarter Pounder. Fillet o Fish. McChicken. The pillars of the menu that made McDonald's the world's greatest fast food chain. Granted, the golden arches always tries to throw in some new items every now and then, just to make sure its loyal customers don't get tired of having the same old burgers, but did you know that McDonald's has a secret menu that you may now order from?

I heard it through the grapevine that starting November 13, 2017, you can order from McDonald's Philippines secret menu... So OF COURSE I had to go find out if the rumours were true!!!

VISITING FAT FOOK TAIWANESE KITCHEN AT SM NORTH EDSA

Bettina ruined literally every single picture I tried to take so this is my cover photo. (No Joke)

After going to Taipei late last year, I became obsessed with Taiwanese food. From the Scallion Pancakes to the Sausages, and Chicken Chops, Taipei, particularly Shilin Market, was every bit the food lovers paradise I imagined it to be.

Thankfully, when I got to Manila, I discovered a restaurant that gave me the closest Taiwanese Food experience I could get since my last visit there!

Now for a taste of authentic Taiwanese cuisine, I just need to go to Quezon City and visit Fat Fook Taiwanese Kitchen, located at SM North Edsa.

PAMANA & THE ORIGINAL HAWAIIAN BBQ: ONE STOP FOR DELICIOUSNESS

Whenever someone asks me where to take their family for a nice Filipino dinner, Pamana always comes to mind. Pamana is one of my favorite destination restaurants when heading to Tagaytay. As much as I love Pamana, I'm always left in a quandry between which restaurant to visit during my limited time in Tagaytay.. Pamana or The Hawaiian BBQ? Which is why I was ecstatic when I found out that the Mother Ignacia branch of Pamana, is also the home of The Original Hawaiian BBQ, where you can cross order from either restaurant's menu!

ALL ABOARD GENKI SUSHI AT AYALA THE 30TH!

Popular Japanese Restaurant Franchise Genki Sushi opened in the Philippines a couple of years ago, but unfortunately I never got a chance to try it until recently. Given the name, and my aversion to raw food, you can understand why I wasn't really in a rush to go drop by. However, when Genki Sushi opened a branch near me, specifically Ayala the 30th, I managed to pass by it and saw that their ala carte menu looked rather intriguing as well. So one fine Saturday, my foodie friends and I decided to invade Genki Sushi, and see what the buzz was all about.

MALINGAP CENTRAL FOOD HALL: A NEW FOOD HAVEN IN QC!

Whenever I go to a food park or a food hall, I always suffer from tunnel vision. I find myself lost in the sea of choices, and it often takes me forever to decide on what to order. Never has that ever rang true more, than when I strolled around newly opened Malingap Central Food Hall. Carefully curated by none other than Celebrity Chef Edward Bugia, best known for his work in restaurants such as Pino, Backyard, and my personal favorite, Pi: Breakfast and Pies, the line up of stalls at Malingap Central Food Hall ensures there's something special for every palate.
