From New York to Manila, Magnolia Bakery has landed on our shores, under the name, "M Bakery", bringing with them their world famous pastries and Banana Pudding!
It was in 2012 when I first heard about Magnolia Bakery in New York. Rina and I were staying at The Hilton in New York, and whenever we asked someone from our hotel places about recommendations on where to eat, Magnolia Bakery always came up.
With our hectic itinerary, we weren't able to visit the famed bakery, which is why I was elated to find out that they would be opening their doors in Bonifacio Global City. When I got a chance to get a sneak peek of what M Bakery had to offer, there was no way I would say no!
The beautiful Bakery invokes a classy, old school vibe, making it a nice place to enjoy some pastries and coffee with some friends.
M Bakery takes pride in creating everything from scratch. Absolutely no mixes are used when creating their delectable concoctions. Their Cupcakes with Butter cream frosting is probably THE BEST I've ever tried.
The Blueberry Jamboree was absolutely fantastic, and the Strawberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake was truly a sight to behold. One thing you'll notice is that the fruit based pastries uses only the freshest of fruits, creating a vibrant flavor that works beautifully as a pastry.
And of course.. The famous Banana Pudding!
Imagine bananas being picked off from the Garden of Eden and smashed up by little angels into a pudding.. This is undoubtedly what it would taste like.
Congratulations to the M Bakery Opening Team! Team leaders flew in from different parts of the globe to ensure that the BGC Branch lives up to the Magnolia name, and guess what? In my opinion, I feel they've done the original New York branch proud!
Oh and guess what? On August 22, M Bakery opens their doors to the public at 2pm! The first Five people in line will get One tub of Banana Pudding every month for a year!! See you at the line!!!
