VIVO V5 Plus: QUICK PHONE REVIEW

      With smartphones being a basic necessity in today’s day and age, we all have to make sure we have a good enough budget to have a decent mobile phone. We rely on it so much not only for communication, but for a more comfortable and convenient transportation with awesome apps like Uber and Grab, to prevent ourselves from getting lost by using Waze, to get live news and friends feed from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., and to prevent ourselves from getting bored with games. Anyway, all of those things are stating the obvious. I’m sure I don’t really need to expound reasons why we need a smartphone. Point, is, we need a phone that is affordable, yet does not skip out on quality and reliability.

And I must say, if I didn’t have a phone right now, I would definitely consider getting a VIVO V5 Plus. It’s definitely a bang for the buck mobile phone!

First off, look how pretty! I love the minimalist and clean design. And not only does it look top quality, the built also feels very premium. It doesn’t fee plastic-y unlike other cheap phones that feel like they squeak when you grip it.  So that is definitely a major plus!

The Vivo V5 Plus sports a gorgeous 5.5-inch large display, with slightly curved edges, and narrow bezels giving you more screen ratio. The screen is a fifth generation Corning® Gorilla® glass. This means extra screen protection against scratches and cracks from minor drops.

The V5 Plus cannot be expanded with a memory card but it packs 64GB of internal storage which is not at all bad.  It will take a while before you need to delete photos.

The camera is also pretty good. The primary camera (which is located on the rear side) is 16-megapixel camera on the rear, and for those who love taking selfies, a packed 20-megapixel front camera awaits!

Speaking of selfies, the Vivo V5 Plus has the Bokeh Mode which can create a depth-of-field effect wherein your face is captured sharp and crisp, while the background has a blurred effect. This makes for great profile pictures. You can turn this on and off, according to your liking.

Taking Selfies at night or in low light usually is a challenge for most smartphones, but not with the V5 Plus. It has a front Moonlight Glow flash that provides nice lighting effects adequate enough to illuminate your pretty face even in dark conditions.

Another awesome feature of the V5 Plus is the Shot Refocus. With this, you can apply more focus to a subject in the photo, even after the photo has been taken. So this means you can shoot first, and then later on decide where you want the photo’s focus to be. Focus on the background and the foreground gets a blurred effect, or vice versa.

And because most of us multi-task using our phones, the V5 Plus makes it easier for you with its Smart Split 2.0. With this, you can view 2 apps at the same time. Like viewing the calendar and checking your availability before responding to your friend’s invitation through text, or watch an online video while quickly browsing Facebook on the other half.

Vivo made sure that the Vivo V5 Plus will be able to effortlessly handle these great new features by giving it a  4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU. When I tried fiddling around with it, I did not see any lag with the movement of the operating system. So from the body to the software, it all felt very premium.

The Vivo V5 Plus also has a good fingerprint scanner that can unlock your phone for as fast as 0.2 seconds. It can also give you a quick access to your favorite apps by double-pressing this sensor.

A phone with amazing features such as this needs good battery life so you can use it much much longer. And that is exactly the case with the V5 Plus. It has Dual-Charging Engine technology that helps speed up charging time. And to add safety, the V5 Plus’ has Charging Protection System to make sure charging is safe.

With all these great features inside a reasonably-priced phone, it’s no wonder that the International Data Corporation’s Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker) has ranked Vivo to be among the TOP 5 mobile phones WORLDWIDE in the 2nd quarter of 2017!

“Vivo disrupted the smartphone retail space through cash-rich marketing, aggressive sales promoter incentives and previously unseen levels of retailer support,” says Jerome Dominguez, market analyst for client devices, IDC Asia/Pacific. “This challenged the traditional vendor-dealer relationship smartphone vendors have been accustomed to, and while leading vendors have been able to adapt, smaller players with less marketing and merchandising budget at their disposal were unable to do so, thus suffering drops in market shares.”

That says a lot about VIVO! Congratulations VIVO! So this coming Christmas time, if your current cellphone already needs to retire, or if you feel like rewarding yourself with a kick-ass mobile phone for working hard throughout the year, the VIVO V5 Plus is definitely one of your best bet! No wonder Stephen Curry endorses this phone as well!

  1. The project manager can be confident in the need to apply a structural evolutionary model for rapid prototyping if: software is developed, especially in the case of programs when medium and high risk is manifested, you can read about similar service from https://www.mindk.com/industries/fintech/ the application is carried out in combination with the waterfall model: at the initial stage of the project, prototyping is used, and at the last stage, the phases of the waterfall model are used in order to ensure the functional efficiency of the system and quality;
