CEBU'S FAMOUS KUYA J'S, NOW IN MEGAMALL!

Jericho Rosales Kuya J

Kuya J was actually a former simple eatery in the streets of Cebu city. It’s one of those hole-in-the-wall restaurant that people just kept going back for because of their delicious and satisfying Filipino dishes. It was so popular that here it is now, operating in Megamall! And it is endorsed by the famous award-winning drama actor in the Philippines, (and also was Rina’s crush), Mr. Jericho Rosales.

xiao long bao

For my regular readers, you would know that Chinese food is one of my favorite cuisines (American being the other one). And there’s a list of Chinese restaurants that have really caught my attention, and my tummy. The latest addition to that list is Lugang Cafe. We went past it one time at SM Mega Fashion Hall and I have been hearing good things about it, so we decided to give it a shot.

Triple - O's by White Spot are are known there to make legendary burgers. I checked out their official website in Canada and I got really excited (see for yourself here). TAKE A SEAT AT MESA FILIPINO MODERNE

mesa facade

Whenever Richie and I go out to eat, it's always a toss up between Chinese, or American, or Chinese, or American. Yep. Chinese and American is Richie's most favorite cuisine as far as I'm concerned. And if you're and avid reader of this blog, you probably know that already. Needless to say, Filipino cuisine is usually at the bottom of our options. Not that we don't like it. I for one love Filipino cuisine! It's just that, if we're going out to eat, might as well something that we don't really have everyday.

But don't get us wrong. We do eat out in Filipino restaurants. We have a few restaurants on the top of our heads that serve great Filipino dishes. And we just added Mesa to that list after we were invited to try their delicious dishes along with other blogger pals!
