        Hot off the success of their successful Sriracha Donburi, Tokyo Tokyo turns the heat up once again, this time in the form of their all new Sriracha Beef Ramen!

             When I first heard about the new restaurant called, "Toast", I immediately assumed it was a breakfast restaurant. Here I was, ready for some bacon and eggs, but instead I was left spellbound by the creative Asian dishes that broke the norm of tradition.

           Although you see me going out to eat a lot, one thing you should know about me is that I'm really a homebody. I don't need to go out to have fun and enjoy my time with my family and friends. I'm perfectly fine staying home, and inviting them over to go on a Netflix Marathon or watch a big event on TV and the like. 

          And usually, instead of going through the hassle of preparing the food, Rina always find it much more convenient to have our food delivered. The funny thing is, whenever Rina asks where I want food delivered from, the default answer is usually McDelivery! 

FROM PALETTE TO PALATE: RAMON ANTONIO AT MARCO POLO ORTIGAS

             I first heard of Chef Ramon Antonio a few years ago when he developed the menu of the Da.u.de Tea Lounge, where he managed to infused different kinds of teas into several dishes, including one of the best burgers I've ever tried in my life. 

             Knowing his extensive experience and skill, I was thrilled to see that the latest food festival of Marco Polo, dubbed "Palette to Palate", featured Chef Ramon taking the reins of the kitchen of this prestigious hotel. Having prepared for Royalty and several Celebrities in the past, I knew this was no skin off Chef Ramon's back, but I knew this was an opportunity to see the maestro in action once again. 

         And once again, I left the restaurant completely in awe of this man's talent. 

PICKIEST VLOG: BAD BIRD AT SM MEGA FASHION HALL

        A great percentage of us Pinoys would never turn down a platter of delicious fried chicken. That's why when Bad Bird opened in Hole in The Wall a couple of years ago, it immediately became a smashing success. 

      Bad Bird became the breakout success of Hole in The Way, becoming the first purveyor from the famed food collective to branch out into its own brick and mortar store, with it's first stand alone outlet at SM Mega Fashion Hall!

       

EXPERIENCE THE PICNIC AT MAKATI SHANGRI-LA

         One of the best meals I've had in my entire life happened at Makati Shangri-La, Manila​, during "The Picnic", a rare event when the best restaurants of the hotel merge together to form one awesome buffet spread! 

         The good news? The Picnic is happening once again on August 20, 2017! 

NADAI FUJISOBA SM MEGAMALL: SOBA SO GOOD!

             With the Ramen craze alive and well in the Philippines, Soba, another famous Japanese noodle soup has flown under the radar to slowly emerge as a delicious alternative. And where in Manila can you find some of the best Soba Noodles? 

         With  Nadai Fujisoba branches quickly spreading around the metro like wildfire, it seems like the answer is clear.

          I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before, but I don't drink coffee. So it's safe to say that I havent gotten bitten by the Frappuccino bug that everyone seems to go crazy over (Poor me, no planner every Christmas hehe). However, what I do love, is a good milkshake. So when the largest Milkshake bar in the world arrived in the Philippines, you can bet every cent you've got that I stood up and took notice! 

        Fortunately, the stars aligned for me when Shakeaway opened their second branch at Bonifacio Uptown Mall, and I happened to be around the neighborhood with some foodie buddies of mine!

            Since opening in the last quarter of 2015, the Halal Guys has taken the Philippines by storm. Who would have thought that a small food cart business in New York would would be welcomed with such open arms in our country? But it just goes to show that no matter where you're from, delicious food will always find a home with Filipinos!

           Since their opening, The Halal Guys Philippines has continued to innovate their menu, coming up with dishes that stay true to the Halal practice, while maintaining its appeal to the local palate.

      Its no secret that I am a burger fanatic. I love experimenting with different toppings, trying to find the combination that best suits my palate.
