SM NORTH EATS: NADAI FUJISOBA
Just beside Kumori is a Japanese noodle place called Nadia Fujisoba. It’s a franchise from Japan that is famous for their soba and udon. I have to admit that I was a bit worried first that I would not like it as soon as I saw the term soba which is buckwheat noodles. I remember not liking it the first time I tried soba in Korea. But Nadai Fujisoba completely turned it around for me.

SM NORTH EDSA EATS: 3 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT IHOP FRESH & GO!
Three words that always brings a smile to my face... "ALL DAY BREAKFAST". Considering how IHOP exploded on to the scene a few years ago, it's clear that we Pinoys have a fascination with the integral morning meal. IHOP brought in their fast casual style restaurant "IHOP Fresh and Go" to our shores, introducing yet another delectable way to enjoy your breakfast, and was the last stop of our mini food crawl around SM NORTH EDSA!

SM NORTH EDSA EATS: DOHTONBORI
In the rare times that I find myself at SM North Edsa, I'm always on the look out for new restaurants that I can try. Yet there was one time I dropped by the Super Mall in the North, and found ourselves once again in a familiar restaurant, unable to resist the lure of their delicious food, particularly their Okonomiyaki.
Yes, I found myself at Dohtonbori once again. And I regret NOTHING.

SM NORTH EDSA EATS: KING CHEF DIMSUM KITCHEN
Phantasm Darkstar, Bettina Bacani, and the Eatsplorations Family!
One of the local restaurant chains that I enjoy watching grow is King Chef. Easily one of my favorite Chinese Restaurants, I've visited King Chef Dimsum Kitchen at Banawe and King Chef Seafood Restaurant at Lucky China Town, and both visits left me awestruck. I've tried visiting the branch at SM North Edsa before, however the line was too long and my tummy was grumbling a bit too loudly, it was starting to scare the children in the mall, so I had to eat somewhere else instead.
Thankfully I was able to schedule a visit to King Chef with my blogger buddies! We made sure to be there as soon as they opened just to make sure we get great seats!

CHILLING OUT AT SNOWBING SM NORTH EDSA
Not only has Korea spread it's music and television dramas to a fever pitch here in the Philippines, even their food has captivated our taste buds. The Bingsu in particular, has become so popular, that its virtually impossible to go to a mall and not find a restaurant or stand that specializes on Korea's beloved shaved ice treat!
The newest name to watch out for in Bingsu has got to be Snowbing! My food friends and I dropped by SM North Edsa on a scorching Saturday to cool down over some delicious, Korean frozen treats!

VISITING FAT FOOK TAIWANESE KITCHEN AT SM NORTH EDSA
Bettina ruined literally every single picture I tried to take so this is my cover photo. (No Joke)
After going to Taipei late last year, I became obsessed with Taiwanese food. From the Scallion Pancakes to the Sausages, and Chicken Chops, Taipei, particularly Shilin Market, was every bit the food lovers paradise I imagined it to be.
Thankfully, when I got to Manila, I discovered a restaurant that gave me the closest Taiwanese Food experience I could get since my last visit there!
Now for a taste of authentic Taiwanese cuisine, I just need to go to Quezon City and visit Fat Fook Taiwanese Kitchen, located at SM North Edsa.

HUNGRY FOR SOME HOAGIES!
When choosing a place to eat at, Rina often needs to make it clear to me that she always NEEDS rice in her lunch and dinner meals. She never hesitates to remind me that, because she knows very well that because of my strong Western influence, I'm perfectly all right with having a sandwich for lunch. However, it's going to have to be a pretty bad ass sandwich. I'm not talking about a slice of ham and cheddar on Gardenia White bread. That's totally fine for an afternoon snack, mind you, but its not filling enough for me to consider it as a meal.
I'm talking about a large sub on a baked roll or french baguette, stuffed with different deli meats and cheeses (No veggies please, save for caramelized onions, of course)... Popularly known in the Philadelphia area as a "Hoagie".
Where could I find such a magnificent creation without having to travel all the way to the "City of Brotherly Love"? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, the restaurant "Hoagies" in SM North Edsa Annex would be a good start.

DIMSUM BREAK NOW OPEN AT SM NORTH EDSA ANNEX!
If you haven't read my post about one of my all time favorite restaurants.. Cebu's "Harbor City", I suggest you do first. That way, it might be easier for you to grasp just how deep my love for their dimsum goes. Regardless of their incarnation, whether they were called "Ding How", "Ding Qua Qua", "Harbor City", and the most recent, "Dimsum Break", their Sweet and Sour Pork and Steamed Rice has been a staple in my diet since I was a child.
When a fresh graduate of High School from Cebu leaves for Manila, one would think that he would miss his friends most. Call me a horrible friend, but forget them.. Leaving Harbor City's Sweet & Sour behind was one of the most heart wrenching experiences of my life.
I always had a dream that someday, we would all live in peace and harmony.. And that Sweet & Sour pork that I grew up with would be easily accessible to me.
Finally, that day has come.
On September 29, 2012, Dimsum Break opened their first branch in Manila, at SM North Edsa Annex.
