FROM CALI TO MANILA: GEN KOREAN BBQ HOUSE

  The last time I was in the US was back in 2014. Even though it was a little over three years ago, there was a place that I had eaten there that I really enjoyed and never forgot. I was amazed because, even though we were in the United States, it was probably one of the best Korean Restaurants that I had ever tried, and I couldn't help but wish that they would open up a branch in the Philippines someday. 

          Last August, that wish came true, when Gen Korea BBQ opened it's doors to the Philippines at the Mall of Asia Complex.

        Welcome to a world of authentic Japanese buffet! If you like Japanese cuisine as much as I do and if you're around the Mall of Asia area, then you'd definitely want to try dining here with your family. It's this huge buffet restaurant located at SM Mall of Asia By The Bay with a seating capacity of 500. It is the biggest Japanese buffet in the Philippines. And it's called Banzai, The Great Teppanyaki Theater!

       If you're an avid follower of this blog, you may already know how many times we've mentioned the inspiration for this blog is Adam Richman's show, Man Vs. Food. We, especially fell in love with the mouth-watering sinful burgers and other mind-blowing comfort food he features there. (Which is our bucket list is to visit those places he's featured). Anyway, the show Man Vs. Food is basically about these outrageous food and then towards the end they will hold an eating contest to see if Man or Food will win.


      This is how it felt like when I attended Burger King Philippines' Battle of the Stacks King Eating Challenge!
