CHIBO OKONOMIYAKI AT PODIUM MALL: PREMIUM EXECUTIVE SET MEALS

Whenever I'm at the S Maison area, it's quite likely that I'll dine at Chibo Okonomiyaki. Knowing that it's a little bit out of the way for me, I always try to make the most of the opportunity to feast on their delicious Okonomiyakis. You have no idea how excited I was when I found out that Chibo would be opening a branch just two blocks away from my office, at the new Podium Mall!

As soon as it opened, I found myself there three times in the span of two weeks, bringing some officemates with me, so they could experience the awesome food for themselves.

Now, Chibo  raised their game by beefing up their menu to feature more than just Okonomiyaki.. But Set Meals featuring some Japanese cuisine favorites as well!

FIRING UP THE TEPPANYAKI TABLE AT YURAKUEN

Despite the distance from my place, I always look forward to dining at Diamond Hotel. Although I admittedly had only been to Corniche, I had heard the stories of their amazing Japanese restaurant, Yurakuen. For some reason, I was under the impression that the Japanese entrees of Corniche was basically what you would find at Yurakuen (Kinda makes sense since it's the same hotel, right?). Considering I was actually quite pleased with what I've tried at Corniche, I never really found an urgency to try Yurakuen.

However, my friend, The Hefty Foodie swore that wasn't the case, and when he had the opportunity to invite me to experience a dinner at Yurakuen's Teppanyaki table, there was no way I was going to say no to that!

I ATE FUGU AT KITSHO JAPANESE RESTAURANT AND SAKE BAR

kitsho restaurant

Due to my lack of knowledge in the culinary world, I never knew that Blow Fish or Puffer Fish can be eaten. But if you don't know how to prepare it, it could be poisonous. Amazingly, I got a chance to try eating one, and I'm obviously still alive! The place is called Kitsho Japanese Restaurant and Sake Bar at Trader's Hotel located at 3001 Roxas Blvd, Pasay 1305.
