THANKSGIVING AT VIKINGS LUXURY BUFFET

        We may not celebrate Thanksgiving the way the Cowboys and the Indians.. Wait.. PILGRIMS and Indians did, but who said we can't enjoy a feast the same way? Rina and I had fun celebrating Thanksgiving at Vikings Luxury Buffet! Nothing beats celebrating gratitude with your family and friends gathered around in a grand Thanksgiving meal! All Vikings Luxury Buffet is offering their own grand Thanksgiving menu this year. This is what we dined on at Vikings Jazz Mall Makati. 

      Get your mop ready, because you're about to drool!

We started wour meal with a hearty Potato and Leeks soup!

 Nice creaminess, and perfectly seasoned.. A great way to start the Feast!

        The Pumkin and Turkey Triangles was really delicious! The Pumkin Triangles have curry inside making it really flavorful and addicting. As if the kropek alone wasn't additing enough hehe..

We were offered a gorgeous selection of The Cheese Platter topped with Walnuts, Olives and Cherries to choose from.. 

The unique Mini Pancake Appetizer

Rina loved the Maki that were topped with Strawberries, giving it a sweet, yet citric twist.

No meal at Vikings is complete without a taste of their Sili-infused              Spicy Bellychon!

The Roastbeef with Peppercorn and Red Wine Sauce was AMAZING!
 The meat virtually melted in your mouth!

Rina loved the freshness of the Seafood Casserole in Pumpkin Curry and Coconut

The super soft Lamb Shank Stew

One of my favorite dishes of the day was the Smoked Barbecue Pork Ribs. The meat tore cleanly off the bones with a simple tug of the fork! 

And of course, the star of the feast.. 

The Roast Turkey with Water chestnut and Raisin Pudding!

Not only was the Turkey cooked perfectly..

But the Water chestnut and Raisin Pudding stuffing was absolutely incredible, 

especially when drizzled in the cranberry sauce!

        For the meal sides, you can opt for the the Rice Pilaf which is also delicious. However, I try to stay away from Rice when eating at Vikings.. hehe.. (I said TRY.. Never said I was successful hehe)

Uniquely delicious Pumpkin Mousse

and a very moist (not to mention literal) Carrot Cake!

        Vikings will be serving their Thanksgiving spread until Nov 30, 2015 in Viking Buffet branches in SM City BF Paranaque SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall,  SM North EDSA, SM Jazz Mall in Makati, SM City Marikina, SM Lanang Premier Davao, and the new Vikings in SM City Bacolod.
