MOUTH-WATERING COOKIES FROM COOKIES UNLIMITED ~RinaZ

cookies unlimited

Have you ever heard of lace cookies? A few years back, (this was back in Cebu during one of my first leisure trips there with Richie) when I first heard of that term, I literally thought of a lace. How will it look like?  Apparently they made the cookie per se so incredibly thin, so thin that it looked like the cookie batter was just brushed on the baking tin. That thin. And for it to hold longer, there's a slather of some spread (usually chocolate) in the middle just to hold 2 thin lace crisp cookies together.

It's really a different take on cookies. And I'm glad that there's already a maker of lace cookies here in Manila! (That I know of...)

Meet Cookies Unlimited!!!

chocolate crisps

This is another personal favorite! The Chocolate Crisps! Incredibly thin dark chocolate crisp cookies that is soooo addicting! They also have Almond Butter Crisps which we didn't get to try but from the sound of the name itself, should be delicious too!

Sugar Free Cookies

It personally means a lot to me when bake shops have sugar-free goodies. Not because I'm watching my figure, but because I have relatives who are diabetic. (Damn you diabetes!) So they're always looking for sugar-free stuff. So thank you Cookies Unlimited for making sugar-free cookies!

Cookies Unlimited uses Isomalt as sugar substitute. This is perfect because isomalts have very small impact on blood sugar levels, plus, it doesn't promote tooth decay (Thanks Google!)

Their sugar-free cookies include the following...

sugar free oatmeal crisps

Oatmeal Crisps Sugar Free

sugar free almond butter cookies

Almond Butter Sugar Free (my dad's favorite!), and they also have Cashew Meringue Sugar Free.

thin cookies

Here.. just to show you how thin they really are! It's almost invisible when turned sideways! Anyway, these are the ones we tried. But they have more! They have handmade soft and chewy cookies which I'm excited to try soon!
