A CHRISTMAS WISH: RACKS' BACON CRUSTED PORK RIBS

The year 2017 marked the year where I returned to working full time once again, effectively limiting the media events that I can attend. I honestly don't mind because I really love my job and the company I work for, not to mention media events have lost the sense of "exclusivity" it once had. In lieu of going to media events, I just try to find places around Ortigas Center (Where I work) that I feel is worth blogging about.

The El Pueblo branch of Racks is walking distance from my office, and there's yet another one at Megamall so when i'm in the vicinity of either, I never hesitate to drop by for a quick bite. During one of my strolls around the area, I saw a sign advertising their new Bacon Crusted Pork Ribs.As you can imagine, my leisurely stroll with my officemate Dian, ended up becoming a full on pig out session of Porky Bacony Goodness!

Since we were only two, we decided to share the Bacon Crusted Pork Ribs Half Platter (P995). The set came with Two pieces of Ribs, a Caesar Salad (Dian LOVES vegetables.. I don't know how we became friends JK), a large order of sides, and Two orders of Steamed Rice. We chose the Garlic Parmesan Corn as our side, and it came with four juicy cobs.

The Bacon Crusted Pork Ribs is every pork lover's dream. Imagine fork-tender ribs, slathered in smokey BBQ sauce, then speckled with delicious bits of mouth-watering Bacon? Trust me, it's as delicious as it sounds.

The meat tore cleanly of the Rib Bone with the simple tug of a fork, maintaining a lip-smacking goodness that racks has been known for. The generous helping of bacon bits really worked well with the meat, further complimenting the innate smokiness of the ribs.

Considering that my friend and I couldn't finish our ribs, I can say this was an incredibly hefty feast that was more than enough to feed two hungry people. (By the way, I paid a little extra to upgrade my rice to Java Rice.. Totally worth it)

The Bacon Crusted Pork Ribs is also available as a Family Style Platter, for 5-6 people, for only P2,475! The platter includes 4 Pork Ribs, your choice of a Pasta Platter, a family Caesar Salad, Two Large Sides of your Choice, a platter of rice and a pitcher of Soda! Perfect for the holidays!
